At Hamilton Elementary, Keric Ashley, deputy superintendent for the District, School, and Innovation Branch of the California Department of Education, is visiting to celebrate the school's "Leader In Me" program. But when Deputy Superintendent Ashley introduces a special guest, the assembly takes an unexpected turn. Watch as Lowell Milken, chairman and co-founder of the Milken Family Foundation, presents the surprise of a lifetime to computer lab teacher Nichole Anderson: California's 2018-19 Milken Educator Award and $25,000.
